Moms are suppose to love and care

But as you kicked me out your house, I was left with despair

Now I am here living with Dad

And guess what, it isn't all that bad

I remember all the brainwashing lies you've told me

Now, I just flick them away like a flea

You thought my life here would be terrible

But in reality my life here is incredible

I have learned so much more knowledge

I'm even going to go to a great college

I don't need you, I'm not like a baby sucking on your nipple

Which is why, now, I am able to pop you like a pimple

I do not need any of your petty apologies

I am sure you know independence is one of my good qualities

I thank Dad and my Step-Mom for all they have provided and sacrificed for me

Because they have done a whole lot more than you have ever done for me

Which is why I vowed to never forget that day

It changed my life for the better, this is why I am here to stay
