Jasmine

Thank you for being my bestfriend

Thank you for the endless memories

Thank you for being my only friend when no one else was

Do you remember that time when we would sneak out of school because everyone would try to gang up on us

Do you remember being chased by those group of kids because we were both different

Do you remember when I would sneak into your house and we would pretend we were in America

OH and what about that time when I was getting rocks thrown at me and you tried to stopped them and ended up getting rocks thrown at too

And what about that time when we found I was moving to America

We stayed up all night crying

I still remember saying goodbye to you

Remembering it was the hardest thing to do

How about that time when i came back to bisit

Running back to you and catching up

Talking about how America is

And when I heard the news of your death

Every part of me broke down into pieces

Trying to understand how someone life could be taken away so quickly

Thinking to myself how can I honor your life

So I give you this poem

Jasmine
