Je désire

I have an irrepressible desire to understand you

A desire to know your life

And how it came to be

The way it is

It frightens me

That I may be more attracted

To your mind, your story, your life

Than I am to you

This is a burning desire

That cannot be extinguished

Till the truth behind your eyes

Becomes known to me

I beg of you, I plead

Do  your best

To supress my desire
