Je t'aime

" Je t'aime" is what slipped from the gap between my lips and teeth.

Comfort is what I seek, your warmth is what I need...

Baby your eyes are blind,

Your mind wrapped up from lies your lovers left behind...never to realize that your inamorata is never faithful.

Besides,

You don't need her, the love she had...has been vaporized.

"Je te hais" is what I scream. Though it's false, it seems these are the only words you fathom.

Platinum is the heart you once had that turned to copper.

She tried to leave you alone for gloom, but you try to plead and stop her.

I, myself watch from the sidelines.

Anger filled my eyes from your cries begging her to stay...but when you were in this same reoccurring predicament, I comfort you, you begged me to go away.

So my question for you is...

Why are you letting our friendship stray?

The days you constantly hurt my pride, giving me a facade of lies on why we shouldn't be!

Leading to me trying to see "what's wrong with me?"

You stole my heart like a thief, hiding it underneath your sand of love, only to be washed away by the water that remains above.

         s'il vous plaît, I plead.

I just need...you to recognize me.

"Je t'aime " is what my heart screams out to you.

5 long years I've kept it to my self, but now I can say I love you...
