Jealous
What I keep inside,
Is what I always deny.
What you love about,
Is what you’d never doubt.
That I’m Jealous.
I’m sorry she’s the one you prefer.
I’m sorry there’s many ways we differ.
I’m sorry that she’s a “better” person than me.
I’m sorry that you see flaws that I don’t see.
Because I’m Jealous.
You know I’m supposed to be,
Your best friend too?
Together you and me,
Stuck like glue.
But I’m Jealous.
You make me feel,
Like everything I do or say is wrong.
But I have to choose,
Carefully cuz it won’t be long,
Until I’m Jealous.
You keep hiding,
Why do you do that?
But just letting you know,
I’m through with that.
It’s a thing called Jealous.
“It’s hard to forget,
Someone who gave you,
So much to remember.”
And it’s true.
Cuz I’m Jealous.
