Jealousy
They hate her for something they can’t see
They hate her because of their own insecurities
They hate her because hate plus love equals jealousy
They hate her for their own mistrust and self-esteem
They love when she tries and she doesn’t always succeeds
They love that she relies on hope to believe
They love to realize she’s human and has needs
They love that they are something she can’t be
They hate when she walks in a room all eyes are on her
They hate how she embraces her culture and skin color
They hate that her dirt brown skin is as smooth as butter
They love to see cracking so much that she’s tired
They love when she cries
They love when they see a part of her dies
They love how she believes their lies
They hate her for something they can’t see
They hate her because of their own insecurities
They hate her because hate plus love equals jealousy
They hate her because her name is L-I-Z
