Jealousy - a body part?

There's the funny bone.

And we know what our heartstrings are.

Oh, and that gut feeling we have to signal danger.

They're all there,

Check check check.

What about the bone, the string, the gut reaction....

For jealousy?

Is it the stinging in my eyes?

The ache that is in my chest?

The Wobbliness of my legs, or the tingle in my arms?

No,  it can't be?

These don't sound right.

But jealousy can do so much.

Make you feel so much,

Jealousy is too much.

I feel it all,

The rush, the heat, the ice, the feeling you get in the bed sheets.

All of it! Alone they are controllable,

Almost blissful.

But combined? They are messing with my mind!

Oh, how I wish I could just rewind.

To the days where jealousy was just a silly pass time.

Turning green wasn't a disease,

It was as easy as a cool breeze.

Nothing mean, no association with Charlie Sheen.

I was fine,

Didn't have it on my mind.

But now I'm confined

To long nights of tossing and turning.

Throwing rocks down the wishing well.

Hoping for a time to get everything replaced.

So I don't have to feel this empty ache
