Jeremy's Story

Hi, my name is Jeremy and I'm a troubled teen
Apparently, my mind is so damaging that my parents are scared of me
They sweating and panicking and they say I need therapy
Well here's a message to them, from me
Extra, extra! Breaking news!
Don't judge me, this is the life I choose
All I want is the money, and don't try to stop me
Clubber Lang gettin' mad, the way I'm sellin' this Rocky
I was young and I was cocky
I was always strapped like Baby, love how the shots of this Glock be
Pop, pop, pop, pop!
Let me get back to the story
I was always screaming, "Cash Rules Everything Around Me!
And if you ain't about your money get from 'round me", I was broke
See I was so broke, I could never afford cable
I worked at Mickey D's but that never put food on the table
Here I go again rhyming, starting to sound like a rapper
But at the end of the day, I end up being a trapper
I never played games but Rock, Paper, Scissors was my formation
Cuz I cut it up, sell the rock, get the paper
I know this sounds crazy but I think I heard the money talkin'
It said, "Boy, I know you don't really do this often
But keep up the good work and together, no one can stop us"
It was at that moment I knew I had to get my guap up
Dropped out of school after eleventh grade
And I told the teacher to tell the principal I'm done unless I'm getting paid
But I knew that wasn't about to happen
There was no point in askin', so back to the trappin'
Come age 19, I make enough cheese for my macaroni
Not a single scar on my face but everybody called me Tony
Had my own apartment, some jewelry, I was doing fine by my lonely
Then here's comes a call from one of my high school homies
He knew I was in the dope game and he wanted part of it
I told him sell it while in school cuz that's how I started it
Then one day, he got jumped by some other dope boys
I ran up with my Glock out in the air and here comes the noise
Pop, pop, pop, pop! They ran off
I confronted him and asked where was my money
He said he didn't have it, I thought he was being funny
I'm like who you think I am, you tryna play me like a dummy
He said, "Man those punks jacked me right after they stomped me"
See if I don't have my money, that's a problem
And he couldn't give it to me, so I had to pop 'em
Pop, pop, pop, pop!
I tried to run from the cops, I wasn't much of an athlete
Now I got bars for life, I ain't talkin' bout a rap, B
Instead of living my life profoundly
I guess I let cash ruin everything around me
All there is goons and prison guards in my surroundings
At a young age, I lost myself and I guess I never found me
