Jesses thoughts

It seems no matter where I go

I can’t find no peaceful flow

Why is it that people seem to have no heart?

What's their excuse?

I work hard to contribute to this great nation

So maybe I could get a Vacation

Others

I see them with their closed hearts, their closed minds, and their closed sightedness

But why?

It’s self destructive and an’t productive

Can't we all just get along?

There's no need to hurt people for who they are
That just isn’t right

Gender, race, color, sexuality, appearance, disabilities

None of these things

Should we be made fun of for

We are all humans and

All are different in our own special ways

To those who seek to turn us into machines

And only see us as numbers

I say to the detached politicians, the money grabbing bosses

And anybody who tells us we are something that we are not..

*flips finger*

That's what I think
