The Jester

Why are you so present in my mind- So easy to taunt, yet something about you is just so enrapturing and accessible.

I hope this stupidity doesn’t last much longer, we made a promise to stay in touch.

At times I want to break that promise- have it shatter into a glorious mess of shiny bright fragments.

I cannot allow that, because I know that the next morning I would be the one with the glitter-glue methodically re-assembling it, closer than before.
