A Jester's Guide to Happiness

A Jester's Guide to Happiness

We dance in the rain

Because joy does not wait for the sunshine

We ache and we hurt and we cry

But all the pain is forgotten

On the path we have trodden

When we can finally leave it behind

I'm grateful for every moment

That I'm able to make someone smile

Because I joke and I fluster

With all the joy I can muster

And others' happiness makes it worthwhile
