JESUS AND I
Poem by; Alick Mushekwa®
*JESUS AND I*
I can't do it alone;
My life without you is like a movie "home alone."
The ways surge fast and quick,
And fogs close all around
But I know we two will win in the end,
Jesus and I.
Corona virus;
You weak soldier;
I know very soon your reign will be over;
For I believe in my God the greatest problem solver
I shall stand to face you even when I am sober; Just to declare your game over! Troubles may strike, we two will win in the end, Jesus and I.
Rivers may block my path; but through your love I'll pass
Storms may strike my faith
Death may threaten my life, yet you say fear not for "I am with you"
For I know we two will win in the end,
Jesus and I.
Jesus the rock of ages; the key to the cages; you give courage to those trapped in the devil's drainage
And deliver those in bondages.
You give salvation to those in the act of spoilage
What a master Jesus! We two will win in the end,
Jesus and I.
Jesus will never forsake you my dear beloved; for your death he shall avenge; he believes into in revenge
But revenge automatically becomes an event when the devil shall be casted into the abyss
Without asking if you may, God knows when His child is too tired to pray.He judges not solely by uttered prayer, He knows when yearnings of love are there.
We two will win in the end, Jesus and I.
Jesus;
Your love is big;
Your blood is thick,
Your body is fit;
Temptations you defeat;
The humbled you lift,
Life you give as a gift;
And yet still make riches not for swift; the battle is neither for the strong nor the weak;
My victory is in you;
My story is renewed; because we two will win the end, Jesus and I.
