Jesus Is Awesome

Jesus is great and awesome;

    I'll tell you how and why.

He lived a perfect life,

    Making himself low after being so high.

He died an awful death;

    He died for you and I.

Then in three days He rose again,

    And death he did defy.

And now I know this wonderful truth,

    And find it impossible to deny.

I know He's saved my life forever;

    And that one day when I die,

He'll take me home to be with Him,

    Up to my sweet home in the sky.
