Jesus Christ

Jesus, son of most high God,
My only need, I look, awed.
His majesty, the perfect view,
I strive, His character to pursue.
The one and only holy one
Sin in Him, there was none.
The perfect sacrificial lamb
To Jesus, servant, now I am.
For to Him I gave my life
So all of His own strife
Would not be done in vain
But in my life, He would reign
As king and ruler of my heart
And I would be set apart.
This, to show the world the love
That once came down from above
To save mankind from his own sin
If only they would let Him in.
Christ, my only need, ‘tis true.
This, I will share with you
In hopes that you will come to Him
And let Him save you from your sin.
