jitter
sometimes my hands jitter
sometimes my hands jitter and then they shake
sometimes my head (yes my head, not my heart) flutters
it flutters and then I shake
I shake so much that words fall out
they leave a trail in my wake
as I jitter and as I shake
sometimes I clutch my hands together
palm to palm to try and keep them in
but I’ve learned that pressing them flat
letting my fingers jitter over a keyboard
works much better than that
