Joandaliz

Dear Older Sister, I’m only a year younger But it feels like much more I remember being bullied by you And being much fatter than you I remember you reading my diary and telling Mom about my crushes; Always three steps ahead of me But I don’t remember when we grew apart Nor do I remember when we grew closer I don’t remember when we lost ourselves Into the pitfalls of society So much that we became completely Different people Older Sister, What have we become? Do you remember me as I once was? Do you remember what I looked like growing up? And what my favorite game to play was? Do you remember how We hated each other during the day But you would always come to my room and Sleep with me at night? I remember that But I’m not sure if you do You’ve lost sight of the simple things in life Because all you can focus on is being beautiful I don’t remember the times when You didn’t have to try so hard to look beautiful Just please stop burring yourself in Sephora and MAC And I promise, You’ll see it You’ll see Joandaliz And not your beautiful ‘Kim Kay’ Older sister, Can you remember the last time I told you I loved you? I can’t And I’m sorry for that Because I love you so much The scary part is I think I love you more than you love yourself I can only pray You don’t Self Destruct
