A JOB TO EARN

One Job May Change my life

Or maybe it won’t-

After all they’ve said and done

Maybe it just won’t stick

Maybe I’ll lose it

Because of my lack of focus

Maybe I’ll give it away

Because of my lack of drive

Or maybe none of these things are true

And to their standards I do not strive

Maybe I have a different soul,

A different mind

Maybe what they say is normal

Is for a different kind

Maybe I’ll do amazing things

And in myself I will find

A job to teach

And a job to learn

A job to preach

And a job to earn
