A Journal
Solitutude on an island
Time appears to be the only thing
I have but what I truly need
is an outlet
a book where I can e x p r e s s
my ideas and create sceanrios
a way to be be free
from this lonely place
In these blank pages I am the creator
in my sketchy art and sloppy writing
making better places
new faces
new action
new loves
new drama
new rivals
a whole new world
on this quiet, lonely island
I realize
just like this island
I am also lonely.
That's fine though.
In my journal I can be a
person of i m p o r t a n c e
Even though,physically,
I am on the island
My mind
Isn’t.
