The Journey
For what purpose do we willingly suffer?
Is it the thrill of uncertainty; wondering whether or not something will come to pass?
Is it the loneliness that stings and burns our fragile heart? As if the desires of every man, woman and child are grains of salt in the wounds of heartbreak?
Do we hope to settle for something that we do not desire, constantly telling ourselves that it is better than nothing?
Is the chase that tantalizing?
Are the odds in your favor?
Is it that we cling onto one small shred of hope that has long been lost?
Is that hope merely a delusion created by our mind?
Is it for any of these reasons that we put ourselves on the journey to heartbreak?
Or could it be that while on the journey, we find something that he care about the most?
