The Journey

You begin with the tours and seminars The facts and the stats You choose Picking this one and that one For this and that reason Hoping it will help you achieve what you desire You attend Enduring the back-breaking book carrying The late night study sessions Reading until your mind goes numb Absorbing the knowledge of those wiser than you Striving to complete, to succeed To get the most out of every experience You are done Now you apply it all to the real world In a career that you perused Through the hard work that you can proudly look back on You did it You're proud It all paid off
