The Journey
I set out, long ago
To take a Journey
As others have.
I started off
With many friends
And family to guide me.
They had taken
The Journey too
And knew
What was in store.
But as I traveled
And as I grew,
Those friends
Had to leave.
For the last part
Of this journey
Was meant
For only me.
So here I stand
Looking back
To see them
Smiling
Knowing
That I will succeed.
