Journey

Blissfully sailing on a relaxing excursion.

Calm waters, birds flying all around

Bright blue skies surrounding.

Everything a carefree paradise.

A wrong turn of the wheel,

Spinning out of control,

Ending in mid-tsunami.

Waves crashing, winds thrashing,

Swallowing up the short lived paradise.

Skies turn black, weeping loudly.

The ship is demolished

Leaving remnants floating.

Washed up on an abandoned island’s shore.

There’s no way back,

I’m on my own now.
