The Journey
Hands up high, morning so bright
shoes looking up at me, time to get outside
step step stepping onward to the day
longing for the chance to spread my hypothetical wings
So when I think I pray, regardless of what these naysayers say
To truth I confide and to freedom I shake its hand
Welcome to life, buddy are you ready for a ride?
It's not free, but its worth the fight
To stand on both feet, without being shaken
Riding the waves of an emotional tsumani
Disicplined morally for the purpose of completing this jouney
The birds are chirping, singing so I begin to sing to
Mysterious notes, capturing the ears of the world
And I ask myself, My purpose is in fact to compose a symphony of journies.
