The Journey

I get to where I go quicker than the light bulb blow.
A strong aura can be considered a nice glow or the shine that comes off a fine soul.
Swear it feels like I've been alive for a long time, it's like I'm eleventy million years old.
Most of the time I speak knowledge but it's nothing that hasn't been told.
It's like I've been alive for five lives; taken the pain and having paid it's toll.
Being a child but being so grown the unknown has always been the known.
Once a young mind sitting.
Biding its time until it's unfold.
Took it awhile to release the child but now the whole world is his home.
Thrown like a stone hitting the floor beaten, battered, bruised and all alone.
Sometimes the whirl of a wind can teach you how to win and make your life your own.
Talents so raw and untamed but with perseverance they've been honed.
Time being the distance I traveled to unravel my story and help me build the soul.
