The Journey

I am an unknown,
travelling in this world alone.
Wishing there was someone,
Who I can call my loved one.

As I sail along the sea of uncertainty,
I meet a few sea captains occasionally.
Most of them speak of a certain direction,
But they did not seem to have that conviction.

I have learnt so much yesterday,
The mistakes we make everyday.
The choices I make today,
Makes the path I will take the next day.

Mr Divine has carved in me,
This great desire to connect with others.
Oh, how great is his grace,
Without any regard for race.

If I take that one step forward,
what would my nurturers say?
If I take that one fateful choice,
What would my King say?

So as I run my daily race,
Give me the strength to live with grace.
And when I reach the finish line with the rest,
I hope you'll know I have done my very best.
