The Journey

You are the flower. I am the seedling. I was carried away by the storm that came fast. Coming home was a big task. Where I was left after the storm, Left me with no hope. But then i said no. That I will go home. Because you are in the heart that i formed. I went through many struggles. Fighting through all the battles. I heard your voice through the wind. Calling out to me. Minutes went by and then I could see you. I planted myself into the ground next to you. A storm came by to take me again. You sheltered me with your petals. For then the storm gave up. I grew up right there with you and now I shall stand tall.
