A Journey Begins

A new journey begins

Many years of confusion

Kindergarten to senior year

I have matured

Noe a strong, independent, young lady

Phased in and out

Different trends; expectations

Lost along the way

Saved by hospitalization; treatment

Discovered hope

Responsibility and trust

Schools, jobs, expenses

Unforseen future events

Bumps in the road ahead

Questioning what life holds

A new journey begins.

Experience yet to discover

Only seen a portion

Time limited; many years to go

Day by day, step by step

I have come a long way.
