The Journey in the Desert

I was stranded

All alone with nothing but my tears

Screaming days and nights to find the road

To find someone anyone

The dessert left me numb

It drained me so much

I believed the sun was the enemy

I believed I was in hell

Blamed everything on my surroundings

Down to dirt that was just simply there

Angry and sad and all these emotions

I never knew it I never saw it

The desert was never the problem

Because the road could be reached

If it was there once it would be there forever

My road was my well being

And my dessert was my depression

My journey through it overall was not easy

My journey never took away who I was

I let the dirt cover me

I let the sun be the enemy when it was what I needed to hope
