YOU see light;

I see a darkened sky,

I feel sad,

YOU care about the future;

I see no hope......

YOU are who you are,

YOU do what you do,

YOU see things in your own special way,

YOU see beyond tomorrow to a conclusion of a day,

YOU love unconditionally what is all around,

YOU talk only positive things to encourage others in their distress,

YOU contribute to help others in their needy times.

But YOU see,

that YOU!

once was me,

till this thing called depression,

took a headlock hold on thee

and now for me,

it is a slow progression,

back into the world of reality,

many little steps,

many counselling sessions to come,

many tears and heartaches,

for me to begin

in becoming YOU

hopefully once again......
