The Journey To A New Beginning

Mommy, mommy, mommy!

Whats wrong mommy?

Why are you crying?

Tears go down her face

Bruised eye

Blood spilled

Name calling

Daddy, Daddy, Daddy!

Why are you doing this?

Why are you holding a knife?

Ragging red eyes

Alcohol bottles

Broken glass

Name calling

It's time to go

This time for good

Enough is enough!

She leaves...

She thought she was safe

She wasn't

Little did she know he followed

Are you stupid

You think you can leave

You'll forever be mine

Run all you want

She ran and ran

Dear lord help me

Crying and looking for help

Lost and confused

Knocking on the door

Nonstop yelling and screaming

The police came

Dragging him away

Yelling for forgiveness from his daughter

She rejecting him

Her thoughts consumed with hatred

Disowning him

He was never to be seen again

They were free

They were free a new beginning

So they thought
