Journey to Self Love

Location

Growing up in this world you are taught to envy others

But why are we jealous of those in magazines or on TV

Rather than wanting to be exactly like our mothers

'Perfect' people plastered everywhere is all we see

We need to be taught to love the skin that we're in

Because if we don't love us then nobody will

You're beautiful regardless, whether you're chubby or thin

Self hatred won't get you far, you'll be going downhill

Strive for self love, kind of like a free trial

Life is to short to not wear a smile.
