A Journey to Someday

The earth has many forms on the ground

Such as hills, prairies, and much more

Two appear my way that I am bound

The one I choose will define my core

The hills emerge with a challenge

While the plains enclose a carefree "trail"

Which of these two will maintain my life in balance?

Who am I to tell?

I look at both and make my decision

I confront a long path I must walk over

It is what I have envisioned

I transform into a dove with a clover

I yearn for my wings to fly high

The sun with a tint of tangerine blinds my vision

The struggle within will clear the morning

Oh someday I'll cease the horizon.
