Journey Through the Garden of the Gods

Our journey is about to begin

The trek is high

The time is nigh

Up we go over rocks and rubble

A few do fall

A frightened call

But still we climb; higher and higher

One final leap

Down is so steep

Finally we see the birds' eye view

Beauty for all to see

No place better to be

The trees are tall and have no bottom

The hills climb up and over each other

The rocks reach towards the sky in strange formations

The sky is layered in colors; painted bright

There is but one word for our journey's end

Awesome.
