Journeys of the Paladin
Part 1: Innocent Aspirations
Obtain this sword, child.
Your life, be a great journey
with much glory, lad.
You shall slay demons
and the people shall proclaim,
“Almighty Savior!”
Part 2: The Curse
Many trials lie
before me, but none like this.
There was the wizard.
I could not harm him.
So in defeat, he cursed me,
to destroy my home…
Part 3: The Wyvern and the Corrupted Knight
Years later, I spot
smoke billowing from it’s nose.
They said, “Destroy it!”
With sword risen high,
it bows and lowers it’s wings.
I am the chosen.
It had been tamed but
I have other plans; To paint
the world red, with flames!
Part 4: Tyranny
I soon took the seat
on my ghastly throne of bones.
A chuckle expels.
The city that thought
I would return as “savior”
now serves under me!
