I am
Young with an ambition to learn
Old with knowledge that churns
Tall with sturdy bones
Dark with skin like coal
Trying to make myself known
Desires to fill this empty hole
Improving my art with precision
Assimilating new things that drive my vision
Struggling to stay in school
Refusing to become a working tool
Anticipating the day my vision unfolds
Moving on in life with an artistic soul
