Joy of the Christian Death

Like a tsunami rises from the sea;

death arises out of life;

every being has it's time;

every person the appointed day;

how we die is not our choice;

will we go in joy or strife;

some go crying, others in sleep;

others pain will lead the way;

After death what will there be;

is there something there for us;

scholars argue about the after;

but as a Christian, in Christ I trust;

when death comes to me no matter what way;

Quick or slow even a disaster;

To heaven for eternity;

never to cry or be displeased;

that is what waits after the Christian lives;

to worship God for ever more;

never be hungry or diseased;

for after repentance my Lord His mercy gives;
