* A Joyful Spirit *

Deep inside the lush green forest is where my home lies.

Within a magnificent tree mounted on top of soft mossy earth.

The sun beams thru the trees like gold hope by day

and by evening lightning bugs fly like shiny diamonds in the summer air.

I stand barefoot on wild flowers,

my senses receive messages from the sweet moist earth beneath me.

My arms reaching towards the light in hello

as it streams through my long golden hair.

My heart feels the spirit of love and joy.

My lips sing the song of a new day.

When the moon falls shadow over the forest,

                        romancing the tree tops.

I will sit curled up by fireside

                        In my cozy chair with

a hot cup of chamomile flower tea and honey.

My kitties gathered around me sleeping.

I will write until the midnight hour

about the blessings in my day.

My spirit whispers to the night.

                          Come, come visit me.

I will tell you the story of your life.
