Joyful Tears

Below you stand before me

Across the room I was there watching you take your first step

Towards your growth I feel despaired joy

Before my eyes you grow

Since you were born, perfect I saw you

Beneath you tender heart you have a strong will

Above all, I hate to see you grow but I love you there watching you take your first steps

Onto your sleep I tuck in your wide open tired eyes

Without you I  wouldn't be able to accomplish all my goals

On top of all the screaming you do I find it cute

Beyond  all the trouble you get me in

Till today I will have your back

Off you go to become a woman

Throughout all crying you caused

Near you all I will always be

Down my tears go

Into the world you go

Beside you I will stay

Up until you don't need me

Aboard I will go

To your journey I will join
