The joyful voices

The joy of speech the joy of song.

We could laugh with each other all day long.

Without our teeth we still could laugh.

Jokes would increase like an exponential graph.

When I’m with y’all nothing is bad.

You could cut out our tongues and we’d still be glad.

We’d find a way to crack a joke

We wouldn’t break like un fried  yoke.

When we laugh like this we’re birds of a feather.

Can’t break us down because we’re together.

The gladness flows from our lips into the air.

Our laughter travels and breaks despair.
