Joys & Tears

Until our hearts hang by a rope,

We mourn and try to have faith.

We must learn to treasure the art,

Of grieving when there is hope

The joys and tears of this life are,

What make it so worth living for.

We embrace the scars of injury,

As we wish upon a shooting star.

A process of building on top of,

What we have built once before.

Learning from our sorrows,

And persisting in love.
