All of which immigrants have been a victim with,

based solely on the way they speak.  

Judgement.

People all around me always make assumptions.

Automatically they dehumanize me.

They assume just by the way I speak that they are better than me.

Who are they to believe that they are superior.

Although I may not speak perfectly, I am trying.

Racism

People all around me make assumptions.

Automatically they believe I am the typical immigrant stereotype.  

They assume that I came here to take advantage of all the opportunities.  

Who are they to judge me.

Although I may not be perfect I am trying.  

Discrimination

People all around me always make assumptions.

Automatically they treat me differently.

They assume after I say a few words I don’t know anything.  

Who are they to judge me.

Although I am not perfect I am trying.

Countless times i’ve been told its not perfect but your getting there.

But in all honesty who defines perfection?

Perfection Noun.  a word with Three syllables.  

A word that will never be compared to the way I speak English.  
I am different.  

I am Unique.

I am an immigrant who always have my roots inside of me.

Racism.
Judgement.

Discrimination.  

Have all shaped me into the person I am today.
