Judgment

Ecclesiastes 3:17

17 I thought to myself, “God will judge both the righteous and the wicked;
for there is an appropriate time for every activity,
and there is a time of judgment for every deed.

Where are you, oh sick one? Why did you hide all day long?

Somewhere in your future your number will be called

You cannot escape it and even when you’re gone

There is none to take your place, no one to take your fall

You cannot buy your way out. There is no value in what you have

All the stuff you gathered cannot change your lot

Now you are destined to take your place in the enclave

on this unexpected day before the judgment of God
