The Juice

Your love is like juice.

Something that is bad for me.

Something that keeps me from becoming the person I want to be.

Something that i take a sip of and i find so refreshing.

Oh wait no, not the weaving of the pros and cons of your love because if we really take it there, your love is not my drug.

Your love.

I know i'm not supposed to have it.

But i need it because the water isn't as good as your love.

I sip and I sip until I cant sip anymore and then i go into a sugar overload, bouncing everywhere like a basketball.

I'm everywhere. Dancing, Singing, Cleaning because of your love.

But.

But once your love wears off, I am tired.

Once your love wears off, its back to the same struggle.

I constantly try to avoid opening the refrigerator door and grabbing a cup.

but its too hard.

Because i need it.

Water can't do what your love does to me.

Water can't make my heart skip and jump to the beat.

Water can make me feel good though.

That's just something your love can't beat.

I regret it as my lips touch the rim of the cup you keep handing me.

Because you know i can't help but to sip, sip, sip until it's on E.

That's just what your love does to me.
