Juliet

I had a friend named Juliet But her Romeo had gone So I let her cry on my shoulders Before the wake of dawn And on this precipice she stood Between the blackness of death I watched her silently, weeping still Then I let her rest I have a friend named Juliet Who let me hold her hand She told that she cried once So she would understand I have met a girl named Juliet Who never seems to waver I wonder if in her eyes There is a space for me I've seen a girl with amber hair A face of fueled regret If she cries on shoulders Or holds my hand I'll call her Juliet
