Juliet's Tears

You had the bullets,
You had the gun.
I was the target,
You focused in,
Going for the kill.
Hit me like lightening,
Too fast to dodge.
I never saw it coming.
Fell into your path of destruction,
Romeo's poison sinking in.
Never thought I could love so much,
Never thought I could fall so hard.
Head-over-heels in love,
The most lethal form.
You had the bullets,
Focused your aim.
Juliet fell to tears
Into a pile of sorrow on the floor.
