July 1st

Not knowing what to do now.

It's been a year. and the pain is as strong as ever.

The memories are showing as if

we are still on the swings,

hidden by the trees creating the woods.

Pushing me higher and higher

as I spill my heart out to you.

The secrets no one knew.

You took care of my problem.

You're my savior, my knight in shining armor.

The girl you called trouble maker,

is now troubled by the painful memories,

the absence of your presence.

I'm alone down here on the swings,

hidden by the trees creating the woods.

I need your push to get me going again.

You forgot to come say goodbye this time.

I'm still on the swings waiting for you.

It's been a while, where are you?

I miss you, my heart is over flowing.

I can't handle being down here while you're up there.
