July Memories

On the important month of a 7 year old, lies a spirit with great joy.

There he goes, looking up into the dark blue magnificent sky:

Waiting for a huge and amazing surprise.

The stars are sparkling and slowly spelling out a name,

trying to squint his eyes but thinking he might be insane.

“Mathias”it reads on the dark blue sky but wait there is another great surprise

He looked up again and saw huge bright lights

colors of Green, blue, red and even white.

Fireworks were displaying for his 8th birthday.

Oohs and Ahhhhs were the only words he could say.

Memories like these can only let heavy hearts be at ease.

This is one of his favorite childhood memories.
