The Jump
I've shown my passion, I've left my mark;
Wait a second, this is just the start.
I played the game, used every trick I know;
Not knowing where this life was destined to go.
I wanted to take pictures of people, feelings, and hearts;
If only there was somewhere to start, where the world could see my art.
I decided to go the distance, and go back to school;
So I can be successful and part of the working pool.
I'm leaving behind everyone, everything I know and love;
Just for the chance, time of day, no, opportunity to be heard of.
One day I'll look back and say, "That was me, someone who would have never heard of...
If I had never left everything to go to school in California."
