Everyday is the same Everyday is a nightmare Everyday is worse than the last Everyday i have to talk myself down Down from the ledge The high up ledge because of expectations because i built myself up because it’s perpetuating Everyday the temptation grows stronger Temptation to dive head first dive into the shallow ground bellow to try to fit in once more but my brain has already left My brain is still on that ledge My brain looks down at my body it wants to meet with those expectations those standards i have made for myself but i dont have the motivation i have given up actually, it was long ago long ago i gave up my heart gave up i stopped caring stopped trying but somehow my brain had hope it hoped i would get better it believed in the lies the lies that made it appear okay it had faith, but my heart had given up Everyday it’s the same Everyday i give up a little more Everyday my brain walks closer to the ledge
