“Jump”

It’s okay to do things that you fear the most,

It’s perfectly normal to be scared out of your mind.

Time and time again, I wonder what’s the biggest obstacle that I cannot find,

Deep within myself, I fear the fear of failing.

Stepping outside of my comfort zone is a huge challenge for me,

Realizing that doing things that makes me feel uncomfortable, will be beneficial for me.

As I stare into the eyes of adversity, I uncover an emotional state of relief.

Living and learning life’s ups and downs,

Has opened my eyes to see what it’s like to grow,

even when I feel like I’m buried in twelve feet of snow.

My deepest fear isn’t failure after all,

But going through life day by day with the same mindset as yesterday.

And yet I say again that it’s okay to perform actions off fear,

Without fearful actions, how will I experience the true adventures of life?
